VAPT and penetration testing services in Dubai

Find the weaknesses attackers would use, before they do. Our testers attack your networks, websites, apps and cloud the way real hackers would, then show you exactly how to fix what they find.

  • Certified testers (OSCP, CEH, CREST)
  • Clear, prioritised reports
  • Retest included after fixes

Test your defences the way attackers would

Every business has security weaknesses: an outdated server nobody remembered, a misconfigured firewall rule, a website form that accepts malicious input, a cloud storage bucket left open, an employee password that’s easy to guess. Attackers use automated tools to find these gaps every day. The question isn’t whether weaknesses exist, but whether you find them first.

Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) is how you find them. A vulnerability assessment scans systematically for known weaknesses. A penetration test goes further: skilled testers try to exploit those weaknesses, chain them together and show what a real attacker could achieve, such as reaching customer data or taking over an administrator account.

ITConnect’s penetration testing services cover networks, web applications, mobile apps, cloud environments and Wi-Fi. Every test is carefully scoped, authorised in writing and carried out safely. You receive a clear report with an executive summary for management, technical details for your IT team, and prioritised fixes. After you’ve fixed the issues, we retest to confirm they’re closed.

What we test

External network testing

Your internet-facing systems: firewalls, VPNs, email servers, websites and anything else reachable from outside.

Internal network testing

What an attacker, or malicious insider, could do once inside your network, including Active Directory weaknesses.

Web application testing

Websites, portals and APIs tested against common and advanced attacks, including the OWASP Top 10 risks.

Mobile application testing

iOS and Android apps and the back-end services they use.

Cloud security testing

Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS configurations and exposed services.

Wireless testing

Wi-Fi encryption, guest network separation and rogue access points.

Social engineering

Phishing simulations and, where agreed, physical access tests. See Security Awareness Training

What is VAPT?

VAPT stands for Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. It combines two complementary activities:

Vulnerability AssessmentPenetration Testing
GoalFind as many known weaknesses as possibleProve what an attacker could actually achieve
MethodMainly automated scanning plus analysisManual testing by skilled testers, using tools
DepthBroadDeep
OutputList of vulnerabilities with severityExploited attack paths and business impact
FrequencyMonthly or quarterlyAt least yearly and after major changes

Together they give both breadth and depth: the assessment finds what’s there, and the penetration test shows what matters most.

What is penetration testing?

Penetration testing, sometimes called ethical hacking, is an authorised, simulated attack on your systems to find and exploit weaknesses before real attackers do. Testers use the same techniques as criminals, but within an agreed scope, under written authorisation, and with care to avoid disruption. The result is evidence of real risk, rather than a theoretical list, which helps you prioritise fixes and justify security investment.

Not sure where your gaps are?

Book a free security assessment and we’ll show you what to fix first.

What’s in the report

An executive summary in plain English for management. An overall risk rating. Each finding with a description, severity (critical, high, medium, low), affected systems, evidence such as screenshots, business impact and step-by-step remediation advice. A prioritised action plan. And an attestation letter for clients or auditors where needed.

What penetration tests usually uncover

Outdated software

Servers, firewalls and web platforms missing security patches, often with public exploits available.

Weak passwords and no MFA

Default or guessable credentials on admin panels, VPNs and email.

Misconfigurations

Open file shares, exposed remote desktop, cloud storage open to the internet, excessive user permissions.

Web application flaws

Injection, broken access control, insecure file uploads and exposed sensitive data.

Active Directory weaknesses

Paths that let an ordinary user become a domain administrator.

Flat networks

No separation between staff, servers and devices, so one compromise spreads everywhere.

Unencrypted data

Sensitive information sent or stored without encryption.

Most of these are inexpensive to fix once found. The test pays for itself by showing where to act first.

Case study

A UAE e-commerce company commissioned a web application test before a major launch. We found an access control flaw that exposed other customers’ orders. It was fixed and retested before go-live.

VAPT questions, answered

What is the full form of VAPT?

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.

What is penetration testing?

An authorised, simulated attack on your systems to find and exploit weaknesses before real attackers do.

What's the difference between a vulnerability scan and a penetration test?

A scan finds known weaknesses automatically; a penetration test uses skilled testers to exploit them and show real impact.

Will testing disrupt our systems?

We test carefully and agree timing in advance. Disruption is rare, and we stop immediately if anything unexpected happens.

How long does a penetration test take?

Usually one to three weeks including reporting, depending on scope.

Do you provide a certificate or attestation letter?

Yes, an attestation letter summarising the scope and outcome is available for clients and auditors.

Is retesting included?

Yes, we retest fixed findings within an agreed period.

Are your testers certified?

Our testers hold recognised penetration testing certifications.

Can you test our mobile app and API?

Yes, including iOS and Android apps and the APIs behind them.

Can you test systems hosted by a third party?

Yes, with permission from the hosting provider where their terms require it. We help you arrange this.

Do you test internal networks remotely?

Often yes, using a secure testing device or virtual machine placed on your network; otherwise on site.

What do we need to prepare?

A list of targets, test accounts where needed, a testing window, and an emergency contact during testing.

Do you offer ongoing vulnerability scanning?

Yes. Monthly or quarterly scans complement annual penetration tests and catch new weaknesses quickly.

Can you test our Microsoft 365 security too?

Yes. Cloud configuration testing covers Microsoft 365 and Entra ID settings, sharing and identity weaknesses.
