Hosting that’s fast, secure and actually supported

Your website, email and business applications all live somewhere. For many UAE businesses, that “somewhere” was chosen years ago: a cheap shared hosting plan bought with a domain, email on the same account, a server under a desk, or a cloud subscription someone set up and nobody manages. It works, until the website slows down, email goes to spam, a server fails without a backup, or the person who knows the login leaves.

Good hosting is invisible. Pages load quickly for visitors in the UAE and abroad. Email arrives reliably. Data is backed up and recoverable. Security updates happen automatically. And when something does go wrong, a real person who knows your setup picks up the phone.

ITConnect provides web hosting and cloud services for UAE businesses: cloud hosting, managed and WordPress hosting, VPS and dedicated servers, business email, .ae domains and SSL, private cloud, and the major public clouds, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. We help you choose the right option for each workload, migrate safely, and manage it afterwards, including where your data needs to stay in the UAE.

What is web hosting?

Web hosting is the service of storing a website’s files, databases and applications on servers connected to the internet, so people can visit them. When someone types your domain name, their browser connects to the hosting server, which delivers your website. Hosting can also cover email, applications and databases.

Hosting typeWhat it isBest for
Shared hostingMany websites share one server’s resourcesVery small, low-traffic sites
Cloud hostingSites run on a pool of connected servers that can scaleGrowing websites and apps
Managed / WordPress hostingHosting where the provider handles updates, security and performanceBusinesses without in-house technical staff
VPSA private virtual server with guaranteed resourcesApplications needing control and performance
Dedicated serverA whole physical server for one customerHigh-traffic or resource-heavy workloads

What is cloud computing?

Cloud computing is the delivery of computing services, including servers, storage, databases, networking, software and analytics, over the internet on demand, typically paid for by usage or subscription. Instead of buying and running hardware yourself, you use resources from a provider’s infrastructure and scale them up or down as needed.

Cloud services are usually grouped into three models. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provides virtual servers, storage and networks, for example AWS EC2 or Azure Virtual Machines. Platform as a Service (PaaS) provides managed platforms for building and running applications without managing servers. Software as a Service (SaaS) provides complete applications over the internet, such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Clouds can be public (shared provider infrastructure), private (dedicated to one organisation) or hybrid (a mix of both).

What we do

What we work with

How to choose the best web hosting in the UAE

Speed for your visitors

If most customers are in the UAE and GCC, hosting in or near the region, plus a content delivery network, keeps pages fast.

Reliability

Look for proven infrastructure, redundancy and monitoring, not just a promised uptime number.

Security

Firewalls, malware scanning, automatic updates, SSL and isolated accounts.

Backups

Daily backups stored separately, with restores you can actually request and test.

Support

Local support that understands your business, in your time zone.

Data location

Some organisations and sectors must keep certain data in the UAE.

Room to grow

The ability to move from a small plan to cloud or dedicated resources without starting over.

Not sure which hosting fits?

Tell us what you run and who uses it. We’ll recommend the right option for each workload.

Should your website be hosted in the UAE?

Hosting location affects three things. Speed: the closer the server is to your visitors, the faster your pages respond. For UAE audiences, regional hosting combined with a content delivery network gives excellent results. Data rules: some sectors, such as government, healthcare and finance, may need certain data stored in the UAE, and Microsoft, AWS and local providers now offer hosting inside the UAE. Resilience: for international audiences, global cloud regions and CDNs may matter more than a single local server. We help you balance these factors for each workload rather than applying one rule to everything. See UAE Data Residency

Common hosting problems we fix

Slow websites on overcrowded shared servers. Email and website on the same cheap account, so one problem affects both. No backups, or backups stored on the same server. Expired SSL certificates and domains. Outdated PHP, WordPress or plugins with known vulnerabilities. Unmanaged cloud servers with open ports and no monitoring. Logins held by a former employee or freelancer. Each is easy to fix once someone takes ownership.

How we work

  1. Understand

What you need to host, who uses it, where they are, and any data rules.

  2. Recommend

The right mix of hosting, cloud and SaaS for each workload.

  3. Migrate

Websites, email and servers moved carefully, with DNS changes planned to avoid downtime.

  4. Secure

SSL, firewalls, updates, MFA and backups configured from day one.

  5. Manage

Monitoring, patching, backups, renewals and support.

Who we host for

Small businesses needing a fast website and professional email. Growing companies running e-commerce, portals and ERP. Organisations with data residency requirements. Agencies hosting client sites. Enterprises moving workloads to AWS or Azure. Healthcare, education and government suppliers with security and compliance needs.

Hosting projects we’ve delivered

Case study

A Dubai retailer moved its WooCommerce store from shared hosting to managed cloud hosting with a CDN. Pages load faster, and the site handles sale-season traffic without downtime.

Hosting questions, answered

What is web hosting?

A service that stores your website’s files and applications on internet-connected servers so visitors can access them.

What is cloud computing?

Delivering computing services such as servers, storage, databases and software over the internet, on demand.

Which is the best web hosting in the UAE?

It depends on your website and needs. For most business sites, managed cloud hosting with daily backups, SSL and local support gives the best balance of speed, security and simplicity.

Do you host websites in the UAE?

Yes, UAE-hosted options are available where data location or local performance matters.

Can you move our existing website and email?

Yes. We migrate websites, databases and mailboxes with careful DNS planning to avoid downtime.

Do you register .ae domains?

Yes, along with international domains.

Do you provide backups?

Yes. Managed hosting includes automated backups stored separately, with restores on request.

Do you support AWS and Azure?

Yes, from setup and migration to ongoing management.

Do you offer managed hosting or just space on a server?

Both. Managed hosting includes updates, security, monitoring and backups, so you don’t need technical staff.

Will our website be faster after moving?

In most cases yes, especially when moving from crowded shared hosting to cloud hosting with caching and a CDN.

Who owns our domain and hosting accounts?

You do. Domains and accounts are registered in your company’s name, with access shared securely.
