Odoo ERP in Dubai: implementation and support

Run accounting, inventory, sales, CRM, HR, POS and more in one flexible system. We set up Odoo around how your business works, with UAE VAT built in, and support it after go-live.

About Odoo

What is Odoo?

Odoo is a suite of open-source business applications that together form a complete ERP. It includes apps for accounting, invoicing, inventory, purchasing, sales, CRM, point of sale, HR and payroll, manufacturing, projects, helpdesk, website, e-commerce, email marketing and more. All apps share one database, so information entered once is available everywhere.

Odoo was founded in Belgium and is used by millions of users worldwide, from small businesses to large companies. Its modular approach lets you start with the apps you need today and add more as you grow, without changing systems. It’s available in two editions: Odoo Community, which is free and open source with core apps, and Odoo Enterprise, a paid edition with additional apps, features, mobile apps, hosting options and official support.

How we configure Odoo for the UAE

We start with Odoo’s UAE localization and then configure the details that matter locally: a chart of accounts suited to your business and Corporate Tax records, VAT tax codes including reverse charge, bilingual tax invoices with TRNs, emirate-level reporting where needed, multi-currency with the UAE dirham as the company currency, and free zone and mainland entities in multi-company setups. For payroll, we configure salary structures, leave, gratuity and WPS output according to your setup. We also prepare Odoo for the UAE e-invoicing requirements as they are introduced.

Odoo Studio and low-code changes

Odoo Studio (Enterprise) lets administrators add fields, adjust forms, create simple automations and design reports without coding. It’s useful for small changes, but heavy use can make upgrades harder. We help you decide what to do in Studio, what to configure, and what belongs in a properly developed module.

Odoo’s upgrade cycle

Odoo releases a new major version every year, with older versions supported for a limited period. Staying reasonably current gives you new features, performance improvements and security fixes. We plan upgrades every one to two years, test them in a copy of your system, and update custom modules so nothing breaks.

Choosing an Odoo implementation partner in Dubai

Ask for references from businesses like yours, check that consultants understand accounting and UAE VAT, review how they handle customization and upgrades, and make sure support after go-live is clearly defined. Ask to see a sample project plan and solution design. The quality of the partner often matters more than the software.

Odoo implementation done right

Odoo is flexible, which means a poor implementation can create a messy, fragile system. We follow a few rules: use standard Odoo processes wherever possible, keep customizations in separate, documented modules, configure UAE accounting properly from day one, clean data before migrating, and train users on their own processes. This keeps your Odoo stable and upgradeable to new versions.

Industries using Odoo

  • Trading and distribution
  • Retail and restaurants
  • Manufacturing
  • E-commerce
  • Construction and contracting
  • Professional services
  • Healthcare and clinics
  • Education and training centres

Odoo integrations we build most

Shopify and WooCommerce online stores, payment gateways, bank statement imports, courier and shipping services, biometric attendance devices, Power BI reporting, and connections to marketplaces and other business systems. Each integration is documented and monitored.

What you get at handover

A configured and tested Odoo system, migrated and reconciled data, trained users, documentation of your setup and any custom modules, admin access and credentials in your name, and a support plan for the weeks and months after go-live.

Case study

A distribution company moved from Tally and Excel to Odoo Inventory, Sales and Accounting. Stock counts now match the books, and month-end closing is faster.
